A memorable day filled with faith, fun, and friendship! Our CFO (Christian Family Organizations) Fun Day was a wonderful opportunity to bond with our brethren through exciting activities, delicious food, and shared laughter. Held at the beautiful Moors Valley Country Park in Hampshire, UK, the day was blessed with joyful hearts and unshakable enthusiasm.
Though the skies were cloudy, it didn’t dampen our spirits one bit! The cool weather became the perfect backdrop for our activities, and even with the clouds overhead, nothing could stop us from participating and preparing for the various games ahead. Smiles shone brightly, proving that the true sunshine came from the excitement and love among the brethren.
We were also truly honored to be joined by our Assistant District Minister, Brother Glenn Ching, along with his lovely family — his wife Sister Ana Loren Ching and their wonderful children Aniken, Anika, and Eran Ching. Their presence brought even more warmth and inspiration to the event, making the day extra special. Brethren from five local congregations — Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Swindon, and Oxford — came together to share in the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
Warm-Up
We started the day with an energetic warm-up session, gathering together under the crisp morning air. It was a lively scene as everyone, from the young ones to the elders, stretched, jogged, and smiled with excitement. The cheerful atmosphere already promised a day full of wonderful memories.
Seeing all our brethren moving together in unity was a beautiful reminder that we are not only strong individually but even stronger together as a family in faith.
Food Get-Together
After the warm-up, it was time to replenish our energy with a delightful food get-together! Tables were lined with an array of homemade dishes, lovingly prepared by each family. The air was filled with the delicious aroma of freshly cooked meals and the joyful chatter of brethren enjoying each other’s company.
It wasn’t just about the food — it was about the fellowship, the laughter, and the conversations that made each moment special. Sharing a meal reminded us of the blessings of togetherness.
Tug of War
One of the day’s highlights was the much-anticipated tug of war! Teams were formed with a wonderful mix of ages, all eager to show their strength and teamwork. The competitive spirit filled the air, but it was all in the name of brotherhood and fun.
Shouts of encouragement, bursts of laughter, and determined faces made the game unforgettable. Whether winning or losing, each team pulled together — literally and figuratively — strengthening not just the rope but the bonds of our faith.
Sack Race
The sack race brought out plenty of laughter and unforgettable moments. Participants hopped across the field with sacks pulled over their shoes, trying their best to reach the finish line without slipping. It was hilarious, heartwarming, and a true test of balance and spirit!
Children and adults alike joined, creating scenes of joy and cheer that captured the essence of our community. The smiles, stumbles, and cheers painted a picture of unity and happiness that words alone could not capture.
Dodge Ball
The dodge ball game brought pure excitement to the field! Teams faced off in a fun, fast-paced match filled with quick dodges, surprise throws, and endless laughter. It was thrilling to watch everyone — young and young-at-heart — giving their best while cheering for their teammates with full energy.
Whether getting hit or making incredible catches, everyone showed great sportsmanship and teamwork. Dodge ball wasn’t just a test of agility; it was a celebration of the unity and joy we share as a family of faith.
Volleyball Men (Buklod vs. Kadiwa)
The friendly match between Buklod and Kadiwa members in men’s volleyball was one of the most exciting parts of the day! Spikes, blocks, and dives kept the spectators cheering wildly. Each team showed incredible teamwork and determination, making it a match full of heart and energy.
Regardless of which team scored points, the true victory was in the laughter, camaraderie, and respect shown between Buklod and Kadiwa. It was a powerful reminder that we are united not only in faith but also in friendship and fun.

We thank our Almighty God for blessing us with a safe, joyful, and spirit-filled event.
